Research (Do School Facilities Affect Academic Outcomes?)

Mark Schneider for National Clearinghouse for Educational Facilities asserts that poorly maintained schools take a toll on health and performance of student and staff. When school is in session, roughly one-fifth of Americans spend time in a school building, Schneider says. This report looks at how indoor air quality, lighting, acoustics, building age and quality, school size and class size affect some of those Americans.
